WFMZ-TV 69 News is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Multimedia Journalist to join our award-winning newsroom. Located in the vibrant Lehigh Valley, WFMZ provides news coverage across Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey. Our team is committed to delivering accurate, compelling, and timely stories that matter to our diverse audience. At 69 News, we value originality, creativity, and urgency in our newscasts. You’ll pitch, shoot, write, and edit your own stories daily—and you’ll be on-air and online, delivering content that informs, impacts, and inspires. Responsibilities:
Enterprise original, local news stories daily
Shoot and edit compelling video for on-air and digital platforms
Write clear, concise, and accurate scripts for broadcast and web
Report live from the scene with confidence and authority
Collaborate with producers, photographers, and newsroom leadership
Utilize social media to engage viewers and break stories
Qualifications:
Strong writing and storytelling skills
Confident, engaging on-camera presence
Experience shooting and editing on Adobe Premiere or similar systems
Excellent time management and organizational skills
A degree in journalism, communications, or related field preferred
Must be comfortable working independently in the field
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
