Objective

 

Throughout my years studying law, I’ve had the opportunity to work at the Albany County Public Defender’s office, learn about the Tulsa Race Massacre from primary sources while working on the legal case of the two living survivors, and gain a deep understanding of American politics. However, even as I help to defend people today, the younger version of myself, the Editor of my high school and college newspapers (long may they live), is eager to impact the world through her words. Considering my knowledge of constitutional law and government, I believe I can merge my deep passions for writing and civics through a career in journalism.
