Online Content Editor

Job Description

Healio is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Online Content Editor (OCE) to contribute to our high-quality news coverage for a physician audience. 
 
OCE responsibilities include:

• writing news content;
• developing strong relationships and collaborating with key opinion leaders;
• tracking analytics;
• posting content online and maintaining the website;
• handling social media;
• curating and producing email newsletters; and
• traveling to and reporting from major medical conferences.

The annual base salary for this position is $50,000 to $63,000.  Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience and equity with internal team members.  If you are interested in a similar position outside of this range, please submit your resume with the code 'WGJOBS' as we often fill similar positions.  Employees living within a 50-mile radius will be scheduled to work two days per week in our Thorofare NJ location.  Remote applicants will be considered.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates must have:

• a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications or a related field;
• writing experience and demonstrated good writing ability;
• ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines;
• a desire to work within a fast-paced news environment with a dedicated team of writers and editors; and
• willingness to travel.

Ideal candidates will have experience with health care communications. Experience covering breaking news, particularly in medicine or health care, preferred.
 
Position requires travel.
