JOB DESCRIPTION

Join FOX News Media’s dynamic Social Media Marketing and Monetization Team! As a Social Media Producer you will be part of a team responsible for creating digital-first, innovative social media content for multiple platforms. You will play a key role in our social media content strategy to drive revenue, engagement, and brand awareness. You will manage a small team of content creators, providing guidance and support to foster professional development, enhance creative output, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, produce, edit and publish high-quality content across social platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube Shorts and Threads

  • Oversee a small content creation team while in office and in the field producing and publishing real-time content for events

  • Manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and maintain a consistent publishing schedule

  • Write compelling scripts and concise copy that resonate with the target audience

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure that content aligns with overall brand messaging and marketing campaigns

  • Be at the forefront of the latest social media trends, tools and best practices to ensure that content stays innovative and relevant

  • Maintain a consistent brand image and voice across all social media platforms

  • Collaborate on innovative video projects and brainstorm ideas to bring in new audiences for Fox's digital platforms

  • Use analytics and social media insights to monitor the performance of content and make data-driven optimizations

  • Travel to shoots, sometimes on short notice

 

 


Job Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 4-7 years experience as a social media producer AND editor in a fast-paced, media or corporate environment

  • Experience managing a team of social media content creators

  • Strong editorial judgment and a commitment to accuracy

  • Strong understanding of all social media platforms and best practices

  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling and shareable content

  • Demonstrated expertise in using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop for creating high-quality vertical video and graphic templates

  • Proficient in using social media management/in-app editing tools and analytics platforms

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Passion for social media, digital marketing and emerging trends in the digital landscape

  • Confident in working with on-air talent

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be able to implement effective solutions to drive project success and improve operational efficiencies

  • Flexibility in schedule to work holidays and weekends when necessary, and to shift your schedule as news, events and projects warrant

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-70,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
