Job Description

WW is looking for candidates to help change people’s lives. We are a global wellness technology company inspiring millions of people to adopt healthy habits for real life. We do this through engaging digital experiences, face-to-face workshops and sustainable programs that encourage people to move more, shift their mindset and eat healthier while enjoying the foods they love. By drawing on over five decades of experience and expertise in behavioral science, we build communities in order to deliver wellness for all.

Role Overview:

Have you ever wanted to be the type of person who gets up at 5:30 each morning to do yoga at sunrise, or even just go for a walk around the block before work? Most of us feel like we’re either that kind of “healthy habits person” or we’re not. But the only difference between that yoga sunriser and the person who thinks they could never do that is habit. “Healthy habits people” weren’t born to do it—they did it by making small changes and repeating them over and over until they carved new neuropathways into their brains and it became a part of who they are. They did it, and we want to show our members that they can, too.

That’s where you come in.

Goals / Deliverables:

Create copy that helps members live the WW program and reach their goals throughout their weight loss and wellness journey, whether it’s  day 1 or day 1,001.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Program team on all materials (everything from tight, actionable app content to more in-depth content for print)

  • Coordinate with Science and Design partners to write engaging and relatable content that takes complex behavior-change techniques and breaks them down into simple, “I can do that!” steps.

  • Partner with Product team on digital onboarding journey (emails/push/in-app article content)

  • Work on new materials for annual program updates

  • Write technique-oriented video scripts

  • Maintain WW brand voice across all channels.

  • Mentor junior content writer

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related area

  • 4-6 years relevant professional work experience, preferably in the health or wellness space

  • Excellent cross-platform writing skills

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Good time management skills

  • Ability to thrive in high-profile, fast-paced, quickly changing environment

  • Knowledge of WW brand and experience in health and wellness space

  • A sense of humor is a plus (who doesn’t like to laugh?)

WW is an equal opportunity employer. WW does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, creed, national origin, marital status, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, or disability.
