We place a high value on diverse perspectives and life experiences. We want people who will bring new ideas and contribute to the growth of our team. We’re looking for individuals who have a keen interest in news, current events and the future of public radio. We want skilled writers and researchers who are curious and creative, have a desire to learn, and who like to be challenged.Benefits
As a WAMU intern, you won’t be fetching coffee; you will be an integral part of a working team. Our interns are often involved in pitching, writing and producing for their teams, often with on-air and online attribution.
In addition to the recognition and networking opportunities that come from being part of a high-performing media organization, we offer a structured internship curriculum designed to help our interns to learn about all aspects of the industry.
