The UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SAREP) is a statewide program within UC Agriculture and Natural Resources.

• We build networks between researchers and practitioners to improve how we conduct academic research, and strengthen local efforts by providing relevant data and data analysis.
• We create tools for farmers and local food system practitioners to assess and strengthen their own agricultural and marketing practices.
• We assess existing programs to help them meet changing needs and serve as examples for burgeoning efforts throughout the state.
