The UVA Alumni Association has a mission to build the strongest bond of affinity among alumni and between alumni and the University of Virginia while representing the independent voice and perspectives of alumni. The Alumni Association is grounded in core values of integrity, inclusion, connection, innovation, and service. In support of this mission, and through the work of approximately 80 employees, the Alumni Association seeks to engage a diverse audience of over 253,000 UVA alumni living and working across the globe.
 
The Alumni Association delivers programs and services to UVA alumni through a wide range of activities that include: alumni events and programming (in person and digitally); volunteer recruitment, training, management and stewardship; career networking; college advising; and multi-channel, broad-based communications.
