Digital Producer
The Omaha World-Herald is seeking a digital producer to be part of our Audience Innovation Team at the core of the newsroom’s online operations. The ideal candidate would have a versatile skillset including the ability to write short stories, produce videos and craft innovative social media. An understanding of analytics and ability to learn and respond to trends is needed as well. Ability to make graphics and data sets with company software will also be part of the weekly workflow. Overall the successful candidate will adapt and excel as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to innovate and bring new ideas to the table would also be ideal.
The World-Herald, a Table Stakes news innovation program alumnus, has shown strong digital audience and subscription growth, and was the Great Plains Journalism Awards newspaper of the year in 2020. Omaha is a metro area of 950,000 rich in the arts, sporting events, parks and dining.
