Founded in 2019, Lemonada is a podcast network that shares the unfiltered version of the human experience. Lemonada Media’s core strategy centers on delivering exceptional podcast audio focused on an unbiased, solutions-oriented take on the biggest health and wellness topics of our time. Lemonada creates magnetic content about health, wellness, and epidemics through the lens of humanity, unfltered.
Our network launched nine original shows within its first year of operating, already reaching over a million downloads per month. Content spans the most pressing and farthest reaching health care topics in our country and world, from the opioid epidemic to the COVID-19 pandemic to reframing addiction and how it’s treated. In just over a year, Lemonada has become the leading health and wellness-focused podcast network by presenting apolitical, objective perspectives, with a priority on delivering solutions. Listener demographics show that the content successfully bridges the red / blue, rich / poor, Millennial / Boomer demographic divisions our nation faces.
Lemonada’s origination story adds to the humanity behind the podcast network. After losing both of their little brothers to opioid overdoses, Lemonada co-founders Stephanie Wittels Wachs and Jessica Cordova Kramer decided to tell the story of their brothers’ addiction and overdose deaths in the context of the national health epidemic, with the goal of saving lives, on the inaugural podcast Last Day.
