The Hill is seeking an experienced editor to join its news desk and play a leading role in shaping its campaign coverage. The successful candidate will have at least 5-6 years experience in journalism. Expertise in campaigns and elections is a plus. The job requires a high-level ability to spot news developments and trends, conceive of compelling stories, direct reporters clearly and effectively, shape and polish copy, write powerful headlines and work well with others.
