Anchor/Reporter
 
WDAF-TV 4 in Kansas City is looking for a Monday-Friday PM anchor/reporter. This position requires an aggressive journalist to work in a newsroom that puts a high value on breaking news, daily investigative reporting and severe weather coverage. The candidate must be able to pull off a visual live shot and know how to turn an enterprise story into a lead. 

The winning candidate must be equally good on the street AND on the anchor desk. Engaging on camera presentation, strong writing, storytelling and news judgment are a must. A candidate who can generate content on all platforms; TV, online and social media is preferred. This person will make public appearances at station events.
 
A college degree in journalism or a related field is preferred along with 3 years’ experience reporting and anchoring.
