RHome Managing Editor, a publication of Richmond magazine

We seek a part-time editor (24 hours per week) to assign stories, edit copy for structure and AP style, work collaboratively with the art director and editorial director, and contribute content that leads to a bimonthly shelter magazine that inspires readers. This editor will work from our office at 2201 W. Broad St. This prospective editor needs to be familiar with interior design principles and styling, soft- and hard-good brands, and architectural/home building terminology. A candidate also should have at least five years of reporting and editing experience, and be familiar with the local, regional and national design and maker communities through social media, publications and market events.
