Injustice Watch is a non-partisan, nonprofit investigative journalism organization that conducts in-depth research exposing institutional failures that obstruct justice and equality. It was founded in 2015 by Rick Tulsky, former projects reporter and editor at news organizations including the Philadelphia Inquirer, Los Angeles Times and San Jose Mercury News; and Rob Warden, a former Chicago Daily News reporter and editor who went on to found both Chicago Lawyer magazine and Northwestern Law School’s Center on Wrongful Conviction.
