Youth Spirit Artworks is a ten-year old, interfaith youth jobs readiness organization based in South Berkeley, CA on the Oakland border at 1740 Alcatraz Avenue. We are involved in youth-driven studio art making, art sales and community arts activities with homeless, formerly homeless and low-income youth, ages 16 to 25. The mission of Youth Spirit Artworks is to use art-based jobs and job training to empower and transform the lives of youth, giving young people the experience, skills and self-confidence to meet their full potential.
