Assistant or Associate Professor of Journalism:
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette seeks a full-time, tenure-track faculty member to lead the print and online sequence in the journalism program. The position requires professional and teaching experience in both disciplines. The candidate will be skilled in the latest equipment, software and production techniques as well as have a record of research and publication. He or she should be able to work with students online and in person to help them master researching, reporting, writing, producing, directing and distribution skills for journalism content. He or she also must be able to advise student organizations. The position requires a Ph.D. or ABD in a journalism related discipline.

Assistant Professor of Broadcasting and Electronic Media:
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette seeks a full-time, tenure-track faculty member to teach media classes for radio, television and online in the studio and field. The candidate must be able to prepare students for careers in news and entertainment programming and commercial production. The position requires scholarship, creative opportunities and service to the academy and profession. Applicants must hold a terminal degree in journalism, mass communication or fine art (Ph.D. or MFA) with professional experience and the potential for a national record of academic publication or competitive distribution of creative works.
