UNIVERSITY of CINCINNATI
The Department of Journalism in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of CIncinnati seeks a tenure- track Assistant Professor to conduct research in one or more of the following areas: minority journalism; urban affairs reporting; diversity and news media. Teaching responsibilities would be in multimedia news reporting based upon candidate interest/expertise and departmental need. The teaching load will be 2/2 with an active research agenda leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals and national conference presentations. The ideal candidate would have an interest in advising our growing Association of Black Journalists student chapter.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Ph.D. in journalism, mass communication, or an appropriate related field is required at time of appointment, anticipated to be August 15, 2018.
