The Campaign for Black Male Achievement (CBMA) is a national membership network that seeks to ensure the growth, sustainability, and impact of leaders and organizations committed to improving the life outcomes of Black men and boys. The CBMA member network currently includes more than 4,800 individuals representing 2,500 organizations and programs across the country. CBMA achieves its mission via the following core activities:
Capacity-Building: Ensuring the growth and sustainability of the field by building the knowledge and skills of leaders and strengthening the effectiveness of organizations;
Network-Building: Building connections between organizations and individuals working in the Black male achievement field and build bridges to other sectors;
Strategic Communications: Promoting activities in the field and creating positive, alternative narratives that elevates awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing Black males that supports a shift toward asset-based language, and attracts additional investments for organizations working in the field.
