The Environmental Health Strategy Center is leading national efforts to promote human health and safer chemicals in a sustainable economy. We’re a leader in the movement to set sound policy, analyze and promote scientific research, and organize groups of citizens to advocate for elimination of the most toxic chemicals. 

Since 2002, our campaigns have inspired groundbreaking state policies to phase out some of the most toxic chemicals from household goods and baby products, serving as a model for chemical policies in other states.

Central to our work is leadership in state and national coalitions working on toxic chemical reform, widespread grassroots outreach, and citizen involvement.
