Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) provides welcoming and safe opportunities to play, learn, contemplate, build community, and promote responsible stewardship of the land. SPR is comprised of a 6,200-acre park system that includes 465 parks and extensive natural areas. We provide our community with athletic fields, tennis courts, play areas, specialty gardens, and more than 25 miles of boulevards and 120 miles of trails. Combined, these areas represent nearly 11% of the City's land area.

Along with our many outdoor spaces, SPR also manages several indoor and outdoor facilities for the residents of Seattle. SPR values customer service and embraces diversity. We strive to deliver excellent customer service to each visitor in our parks and continue the legacy of creating and maintaining strong community with a diverse workforce.
