Company Description:

The Rivard Report is a nonprofit, nonpartisan hyperlocal news org covering life, work and play in San Antonio, Texas. The city and the Rivard Report are both growing robustly. We are seeking to expand our current staff of 10. We invite applicants interested in:

1. An urban affairs reporting position.
2. A journalist with GIS skills and database reporting experience.
3. An articles and production editor with experience working on WordPress, photo editing, online formating and a strong background in story editing and headline writing. 

The Rivard Report was founded by Robert Rivard, a former newspaper and news magazine journalist and former editor of the San Antonio Express-News.  We are looking for people who are passionate about cities and their communities. We are a small, four-year-old startup where everyone does everything. Prospective candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no one punches the clock or says "That's not my job."
