The Bangor Publishing Co. has served the people of Maine for more than 125 years through its publication Bangor Daily News. Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, the BDN has become a leading statewide source of news and information with bureaus throughout the state and a range of services that keep Maine informed.

The BDN is one of the very few privately owned newspapers in the United States. The company is proud of its long-standing investment in communities and is committed to supporting a healthy and thriving Maine. It does this, in part, by providing our audience with outstanding BDN products that are credible, accurate and superior in production and quality.

The BDN publishes a print edition six days a week. Its website is bangordailynews.com and it offers other digital services that include apps for tablets and phones and numerous email newsletters. In addition, it publishes the Bangor Metro, 5 weeklies in print and online including The Weekly, The Aroostook Republican, Houlton Pioneer Times, The Star-Herald and The Piscataquis Observer, and operates Print Works, a full service printer specializing in sheet and web printing located in Presque Isle.
